NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN share many topics, but their test plans, scope and categories differ — for example, Management of Care on the RN test plan corresponds to Coordinated Care on the PN test plan.
Why you choose a track
When you choose RN or PN we show the questions, guides and category names for that track. Questions written for both tracks are tagged with your track whenever you answer them.
Your results stay separate
Every attempt, mastery summary, study plan and recommendation is stored against the track you were on. If you switch tracks we ask you to confirm, and your previous track's history is kept — it is never merged into the new one.

You can switch back at any time from your profile, and your earlier progress will be waiting for you.
